Greg McCrery is considered an expert on sales and relationship management to financial services
companies. He maintains strong relationships with executives at most leading U.S. banks, thrifts,
credit unions, brokerages and their vendors. Greg provides sales and relationship management
expertise in the online banking, billing and payments market to help providers better penetrate
the banks and increase customer satisfaction.
Greg recently helped a major software company to penetrate the largest financial institutions in the U.S. by helping them understand banks' decision making process, then facilitating introductions to key decision makers at top 25 banks. Greg also partnered with one of our clients to create their prospective EBP strategy by providing expert market validation, drawing from past experience and conducting numerous interviews with executives at their largest clients.
Prior to eCom Advisors, Greg held senior leadership roles at CheckFree Corporation from 2000 to 2005. As a Group Sales and Relationship Management executive, he had responsibility for $110 million of revenue from the majority of the company's banks. His team exceeded their annual revenue quota during each of his last three years, with a client retention rate above 95 percent.
Greg's team of 22 Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Marketing Consultants was responsible for over 100 client relationships, including leading VARs such as S1, Digital Insight, Funds Express and PSCU.
With an annual marketing budget in excess of $1 million, his team successfully launched over 40 cooperative marketing campaigns with large clients. These campaigns spanned a variety of tactics and channels, and provided a collective return on invested capital in excess of 50 percent.
Prior to CheckFree, Greg spent ten years in investment banking at NationsBank and Bank of America, where he managed a $2.5 billion investment portfolio, ranging from investment-grade public corporations to highly-leveraged private companies.
