Paul McAdam is focused on creating data analytics, research and consulting services that improve retail banking and online channel business profitability.

Prior to eCom, Paul worked with BAI, a professional association that provides a range of research and training services to financial services companies. He held several executive positions with BAI over 13 years - most recently as Senior Managing Director of Research and Product Development and as Editor-in-Chief of Banking Strategies magazine.

At BAI he spearheaded the launch of BAI’s highly successful consumer research and benchmarking businesses. These businesses generated primary consumer research and in-depth performance benchmarking focused on the drivers of organic revenue growth in retail financial services. The majority of the top-50 U.S. banks and several Fortune 500 technology solutions providers were clients. During the 1990’s, Paul managed BAI’s Retail Delivery Conference and other financial services industry events.

Paul launched his career in banking with Household International, a $70 billion asset consumer financial services company that was acquired by HSBC in 2003. He worked with Household for six years, starting in retail branches. He also held managerial positions in credit card operations, marketing and strategic planning.

Paul received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and a master's degree in business administration from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
