Todd Uran brings over 12 years of industry experience to eCom Advisors. He is
considered an expert on electronic remittance rates, payment exception rates,
claims rates and bill payment conversions. Through analysis and business case
development, Todd helps our clients identify and implement key changes to the
consumer user-interface and customer service systems to increase electronic
remittance rates, decreasing payment exceptions and claims.
Prior to joining eCom Advisors, Todd held leadership positions at CheckFree Corporation from 1995 to 2005 that included Director of Payment Management, Director of Biller Relationship Management, and Director of Biller Integration. In these positions, Todd's teams led the industry with unmatched electronic payment remittance rates, processing costs, returned payment rates, and claim rates.
Todd has managed numerous large, mid-tier and small bank and brokerage EBP conversions, participating in successful conversions of 4 million consumer EBP accounts, including the conversions of Bank of America California, Bank of America Northwest, Wells Fargo, Fleet, Fifth Third and NationsBank. His team's analysis ensured the highest level of post-conversion payment processing quality, resulting in electronic remittance rates and claims rates that were comparable to or sometimes higher than those experienced by the bank or brokerage at their previous processor.
Todd created and developed a business analysis team dedicated to improving the quality of the bill presentment consumer experience. As a result of his leadership, bill presentment enrollment for top billers increased 50 percent, generating significant increases in bill presentment revenue. Additionally, he participated in the design, marketing and support of the biller self enrollment site that enabled small businesses to receive electronic payments. During the first two years, over 3,000 small businesses enrolled to receive payments electronically.
Todd also developed and led a team of Biller Account Managers that were responsible for sales support, relationship management, cross-selling and contract renewal negotiations. This team was instrumental in creating the largest closed payment remittance network in the biller industry.
